  • BOINC: an open-source middleware system for volunteer computing (a type of distributed computing).
  • Searxng: a free and open-source metasearch engine with the aim of protecting the privacy of its users.
  • OpenSSH: a suite of secure networking utilities based on the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol, which provides a secure channel over an unsecured network in a client–server architecture.
  • tmux: an open-source terminal multiplexer for Unix-like operating systems.
  • nano: a text editor for Unix-like computing systems or operating environments using a command line interface.
